COVID-19: A strong sign of hope and solidarity for INPAFO There is no doubt that the coronavirus pandemic is one of the most dire threats mankind has ever faced. It has disrupted daily lives, global economies, intra/inter-countries political outlook, educational systems. But yet, amidst the confusion and anxiety, COVID-19 is a strong reminder of the power of hope and solidarity, a sense of “Sarve santu nirāmayāḥ”, and desire for togetherness. It is this “never give up” spirit of global togetherness that gives us hope. In this time of crisis, we are all neighbours in the world like one big family, and success will only be achieved when each one is protected and fearless. Thankfully, this shared sense of responsibility has seen a world come together in ways that we have not seen for some time, and the examples are everywhere. Amidst the pain that we continue to endure, We are sure our “corona warriors” shall sail through safely in these critical times smoothly, with loads to learn. apply in future. Please be safe and follow covid-19 safety protocol. We are waiting for you on the other side, post pandemic, for many congresses, brainstorming sessions and academic activities. God bless you.. May god bless the human race!! PS: Our academy is 24x7 available via social networks and WhatsApp in these darkest hours for positivity.

INPAFO Team

These are incredibly trying times, as we continue to be ravaged by the ferocity of the deadliest virus, the responsibility is on each one of us to remember that simple tools and practices can arrest the spread of the COVID-19. It is more important than ever to invest time in taking care of yourself and also making the best out of this imposed lock time for generating a positive impact on the health and research sector to use each adversity as an opportunity. We can enhance our skills and knowledge by various online pedagogical learning courses or discussions. Government of India (www.swayam.gov.in) has initiated and designed online courses which are interactive, free of cost available to any learner. You can contribute to our own journal by mailing inpafojournal@gmail.com. The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India has issued simple easy to follow guidelines to “Stop the Transmission, Crush the Pandemic - Masks, distance, sanitation and ventilation to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus”. You can view the guidelines here and share it as well. I pray that each of our academy member is safe and has courage to face these dark times fearlessly, collectively so that we all act today to define the future of Forensic Odontology, that we are so passionate about.
